First off… didn’t even realize we haven’t used this blog in quite some time so, our bad on that? Anyways, if you listened to Episode 123, you’ll know that BK and I did some major brainstorming on what could be the most amazing holiday movie ever. We also put ourselves up to the task of creating both song and movie poster so… HERE YA GO, YA FILTHY ANIMALS!

funny enough, this was a save draft from sept 10, 2016 that I never posted and decided to start it again just to get it out of the way. since our last "blog" update many things have happened; we've launched over 100 episodes, launched a YouTube channel ("Frienemies" if you haven't heard already) and probably have killed an impressive amount of brain cells doing so.
I'm unsure what this blog is supposed to accomplish other than filling up space in a spot where hardly anyone reads but I'd again like to extend thanks out to anyone who's ever listened, shared or just mentioned our show to any one in their lives. We appreciate the time you give us and hope that you aren't (super) disappointed. thats it.

I'm writing this one on little sleep and a ton of coffee so hopefully it comes across the way I want it to. By now the finale is uploaded and has been making it's way around the ol' Internet, as Camp TFP gets time to breathe and focus up, I figured a traditional "thank up" post was in order. 50 episodes definitely isn't a milestone to some, but for two friends with drinking problems and nothing to actually talk about, I view it as something to celebrate. This season has been more of a guest season than last (which is amazing how many people trusted us JUST ENOUGH to come by with a buffer buddy to make sure there was a witness) and we talked to/befriended/bro'd-out/etc a gaggle of amazing people. We bonded, we drank, we laughed and we mocked the soundboard with complete strangers and came up with something special. To everyone who guest starred on the show, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and what thank you list would be complete without an actual list. So to these friends, thank you..

I'm trying really hard to be cool by using that "x" nowadays, taking it back from the Straight Edgers. Anyways, this isn't about that, this is about an exciting new chapter for everyone here in Camp TFP. Knowing that Junior is no stranger to the podcast game and personally hearing his dedication and passion for this medium of entertainment, we'd be crazy not to join up! Nope, we didn't upload all of my LiveJournal entries into this blog I'm just really feeling this song right now. Both BK and I have been hard at work to bring ya'll some quality friendtertainment (get it... friendship? ...entertainment?) and we've left this blog a very empty corpse, so for no reason at all, I present to you, Siege's Top 5 Songs He Currently Is Feeling.
5.) Blacklisted - No One Deserves To Be Here More Than Me
California's been having a pretty on-again off-again relationship with storm weather and if you're on Facebook, you know everyone won't STFU about it. That gets me a bit ruffled under the feathers and Blacklisted is just the band to help keep 'em nice and ruffled. Do you like grating vocals screaming the truth of personal turmoil and outcasted feelings? Yup, it's 2003 all over again.
4.) Kid Cudi - Dat New New
A long time jam, only recently has it made itself back into rotation. You may remember Mr. Cudi from "Day N Night", the jam about being a stoner and cool as fuck? Well he is and so is this song. I don't know why I need to keep typing, just listen to it.
3.) ISIS - Celestial Tower
I've only recently (within the last 6 years) began getting into the weirdos of the metal world and ISIS, to me, are the hardest weirdos on the block. Everything about this song is off, almost abrasive and certainly headbang-worthy. I also recently bought a guitar and spend a lot of nights in the garage strumming out the main part while wearing Raider slippers and headbanging my dick off. Sue me. (also, not an endorsement for the Raiders, they sux LOL)
2.) Converge - You Fail Me
If you're a fan of metal, hardcore, punk, whatever the case may be you've heard of Converge. Jane Doe hoodie ring any bells? You hear about them for a reason, because they're cool as shit. Recently I've been spinning "You Fail Me" and "Jane Doe" and I gotta say, I'm glad I did. It's refreshing not having to answer to the cool police about being up on a band's material while it's relevant. Huzzah.
1.) Childish Gambino - All Yall
According to my iTunes playlist, I've played this song 147 times since it's been released. Personally, it's probably a glitch because I know I've listened to it WAY more times in my car than that. Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover use to be a personal hero and inspiration to perform stand up for me. Now he's a hipster in a white t-shirt who doesn't do stand up anymore. Donald Glover is dead. Long live Childish Gambino. The man may infuriate me with his departure from comedy but goddamnit can he make a catchy song.

First I wanna just take a moment to appreciate BK's earlier blog post, I fucking love Seven. Anyways, thought I'd hit whoever's reading this with some random hopes I had for the future for TFP
I want to get the chance to interview and interact with some of my heroes. I love having everyone and anyone on the show because it breaks down this illusion that we're an ACTUAL show and more just a forum for people who could be friends, to be friends. I'd like to experience that with people who inspired me to do what we're doing. I'd cut my dick clean off if that could happen.
I want more community involvement. Huge thanks to the small community we have currently of friends and new friends who keep listening and keeping up with our randomness. I'd like to have a true live show, invite everyone who wants to stand around for an hour and be drunk, high, etc with us.
Lastly, I want us to go down as a podcast that promoted friendship through insanity, hilarity and honesty. I've "promoted" for the show by handing out those buttons (that may soon be on sale, stay tuned for that), but it wasn't just for the one new listener. It was because whoever got that button showed that they're a friend, they have that same bond BK and I do with someone else and that's amazing. The button is a badge of that, it may have our faces and our information, but this is truly YOUR podcast, we're just the idiots talking between the funny stuff. So interact with us and we'll interact with you until there ain't no more interacting to do. I mean that.

Hey guys, sorry its been so long since my last post. Ya'll know how it is with these blog things. I'm excited to see how you have all flocked to the site and made this whole Friendship Podcast way more interactive. The flood of comments, suggestions and likes has been overwhelming and I promise I'll reply personally to each one in due time...there's a lot though...lol ;). A lot of big things are coming with season 2. We've got a couple live shows on the horizon, of course the new website and some new merch on the way as well. Again thank you all for your support and participation making The Friendship Podcast the number one podcast in the world dedicated to Friendship by CJ and BK releasing on wednesdays. I always hated that. Who cares if you're first to post about some shitty metal band or some gossip about whoever? There are no medals for first comments, women do not flock to those studs who can get into a thread or comments section first. Can you tell this is just bullshit to fill the website, yet? I don't think I've honest to God written a blog entry in forever, probably won't get too real here. BK and I agreed to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles based solely on a recent clip of them beatboxing in an elevator, that's all you need for me to be in. Prepare for the review on the next episode.
